Not a Muse

4 November, 2009

Male writers and poets throughout the centuries have turned to a feminine muse as a creative catalyst. But there is much more to us than providing a source of inspiration. Now, the Muse is finding her own voice. Not a Muse is about our choices. About how we define ourselves as women and poets and how we define freedom.

Co-edited by British poet Viki Holmes and Canadian poet Kate Rogers (both currently based in Hong Kong), Not A Muse includes more than 100 exciting poets from 24 countries: Australia, Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Egypt, France, the UK, Germany, Guam, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Indonesia, New Zealand,  Norway, Philippines, Scotland, South Africa, USA, Wales, and Lebanon.

Enjoy a free glass of wine along with live renaissance music.

Participating poets: Adele Geraghty, Joan Hewitt and Vivien Jones
