Chase to the Brazen Head is a great book; it has an excellent start (I got hooked soon after reading it), and it only gets better. Archie and Edward find the library of the CEC (China Exploration Club) while searching an abandoned chapel. Soon after events force them to reform the CEC along with their friends: Sze and Yan Yan. Untold adventures await them when they try to stop an unknown man from stealing the ‘Brazen Head’! I will give this book a ten out of ten for good reading material and will definitely recommend it to my family and friends.”

The past collides with the present when a theft occurs on the grounds of the Shanghai International School. A group of school friends-Archie, Edward, Yan Yan and Sze-go exploring in a long-abandoned chapel building and are horrified when they discover that their friend and mentor Ah Sook has been hurt, and that the perpetrator has stolen the key to the Stronghold of the White Emperor. They decide to try to follow in the footsteps of a 1941 expedition to the Stronghold, to try to prevent the thief from stealing the Brazen Head, an ancient bronze statue that can predict the future. But they face many dangers on the way, and must be as clever and as skilled as the best of the White Emperor's court to get to the prize in time.
